Can anyone name this potential trade target for the M's?

Hint: He's currently in the final year of his contract for a perennial AWFUL team, but has a $12M club option for next season.

Senzatela.

Not really a turn around as much as a role change. He moved to the bullpen from the rotation.

Agreed, he's apparently one of those guys who can be great for one inning, but awful for five.

Which is exactly why they should move Castillo to the pen.

Wow, had never heard his name in my life so I wouldn't have guessed it if I had 1000 guesses.

I could easily see Castillo going to the pen and succeeding. He can throw 99-100 when he lets it loose. Castillo used to be able to sustain velo... but he can't anymore.

Expensive reliever... but what else can ya do with him?

Yep all the data points to just that.

And remember when everyone thought he would be all pissed off when he lost he OD starter gig to Logan and he handled it graciously and was happy for Gilbert? I think if they would just go to him and tell him they NEED him in the pen due to all the injuries he would be happy to do it as opposed to continue to struggle as a starter. Not like he has to take a pay cut.
