Now's the time to burrow Burrows deeper in his hidey hole.
Raley, JP & Canzone - do some damage!

Yes! We buried Burrows in his burrow for 2 more runs on a Cole Young double.
Then Burrows left on an old burro with former Mariner Cody Bolton in relief.

You forgot to mention Cole Young who did some damage. Is he the best 2nd baseman in the AL this year? He was leading the M's in RBIs this year till Raley went on his 7 RBI game barrage earlier a few days ago.

I did mention him in my next post, and yes, he's one of, if not the best 2ndbaseman in the A.L. this season. I still can't believe how much shit was thrown at him in the off-season. He has proven many wrong.

Now to see if we can add on some runs in frames 7-9 or somehow stagger across the finish line with a victory by holding on to this 4 run lead. A 3-1 series is massive compared to a 2-2 split. After yesterday's gut breaker I am bloodthirsty for a win to close out this series the right way.

Stupid to wait until his injury became so severe that he could no longer play when it was clear he was hampered by it weeks ago. But that's the Mariners.
I guess they wanted to wait until he was 0-50.

Maybe its because he ended the season on a 3-51 bender, finished with barely over a .600 OPS, his D was Bad, he was benched and left off the playoff rosters???

They gave him three days off because of it. If it is a two month recovery variety then it would seem to me he continued to aggravate it.

It better not be 2 months
“Obviously, he didn’t make it worse,” Hollander said. “Hopefully, we can get the lingering soreness out of there, and then he can resume baseball activities, but we’ll go week to week with it. Right now, we don’t anticipate this being a long, long time, or anything like that. But we want to make sure that when he gets into a game, he’s doing it with full confidence and pain-free
