Sorry if posted elsewhere;
Cal Raleigh - Starting rehab assignment Sunday
Raleigh (oblique) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A Everett on Sunday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
Raleigh will move up to Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday and will continue his rehab assignment there for the rest of next week before the Mariners evaluate him for a return to the active roster. That sets Raleigh up to return to the Seattle lineup June 16 for the beginning of a homestand, assuming all goes well. He's been out since mid-May with a right oblique strain.

Weird, I thought Dan Wilson said the MRI did not indicate any worsening of the oblique "issue" that was bothering Cal prior to going on the IL. SO if he has needed a month to get right, why the hell was he playing in the weeks leading up to the "incident" that resulted in his placement on it given that he was obviously having trouble hitting the ball?

Padres just DFA'd Nick Castellanos. Probably a little easier for them to DFA him than it is for the Mariners to DFS Refsnyder considering that they're only paying 780K of his 20M salary (the Phillies are paying the rest).

Sad but we've been a better team when they're not trying to make the lineup revolve around Cal.

How about the Phillies? Paying the guy over 19 million to play for someone else.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Fri Jun 05, 2026 3:46 pmYeah, that was the Padres poking it with a stickDavidGee24 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2026 7:37 pmPadres just DFA'd Nick Castellanos.
