FYI, Harry Ford is doing his best to make Dipoto seem like a genius. He is hitting .211/.339/.279 with a .618 OPS for AAA Rochester.

16 HRs as a 22 yo in the PCL and 1 HR so far this season in the Int. league. Both AAA. Bizarre.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut on occasion.

What I find interesting is Dipoto has done what I would consider well above average as a GM/Presidouche at finding low cost talent.

His big, gel-haired flaw is that when it comes to giving guys contracts over, say, $2M, he has absolutely horrible judgment. Especially on the bats.
