7 straight games scoring 3 runs or less. 2 straight games getting only 2 hits, and not long ago they got 1-hit twice in one week. No other team in baseball does this.

We just sent one of our best right hand hitters to Tacoma for Christ's sakes!Sports Hernia wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2026 5:14 amYou haven’t been hitting and your last name isn’t Refsnyder. While we appreciate past contributions, we wish you luck on your future endeavors.

"In 19 games in what is his third MLB season, Pereda has hit .270 (17 for 63) with two homers. And his work behind the plate is just as valuable to the team.
“He did a fantastic job on all sides of the ball,” Mariners general manager Justin Hollander said on Monday. “The way he worked defensively, both in game-calling and working with the pitchers, the energy that he brought every single day, the quality of his at-bat was unbelievable.”
How about dfas for Garver, Joe, and Refsnyder?
Right Hand Hitters that should be on the club
Randy Arozarena (LF)
.291 / .377 / .448
Julio Rodríguez (CF)
.249 / .309 / .436
Jhonny Pereda (C)
.270 / .324 / .365
Arozarena and Rodríguez stand out clearly as the top two RHB by a wide margin.
Pereda has been solid in limited catcher time. Those three should be on the club.
In addition to Conner Joe and Refsnyder, Garver and Robles should both be gone... they provide some contact but limited power/OBP impact, not enough

Yeah, and I pilfered a shitty game thread, lost, knowing it would probably be a loss.
Why do I do these things?
Think I'll take up sniffing glue again.
Why, hundreds of years ago, did I ever open up the Seattle Times, read the sports page, and then discover the ST were on the internet?
How did I discover a forum with people that discussed and argued Mariners? (notice I did not say praised)
It's been a long journey, following these Mariners.
