He should have just promoted Arroyo and traded for a high leverage reliever but he is a dumb fuck.

Are you seriously calling Catcher that can play in the OF with a 1.300 OPS in AA depth??? If he was promoted to MLB tomorrow he would MASSIVELY outperform Cal.

It was a great trade. Even if they got nothing but salary relief.

The problem is the rest of the team is still a bunch of average players.

Dipoto looked at a team that's pretty much on the bubble, then added more average players to the mix.

He did nothing to actually improve. He replaced Jorge Polanco with Brendan Donovan? Uhh, way to go..
