I think dipoto getting fired is about as likely as Howard Lincoln getting fired before. Thats the sort of postition i think hes at after being made president. Or Beane for the Athletics. Hes probably in his position for another ten years

And chuck armstrong...Armstrong and Lincoln retired, Stanton moved up to managing partner and dipoto got promoted to president. Stanton is actively running the team along with dipoto, together they are sharing the responsibilites that were handled before by Armstrong and Iincoln. Stanton and dipoto are joined at the hip. That last thing stanton is considering is firing dipoto, he needs him. Thats my take on how things are being run. If they need to toss someone under the bus theres always wilson or hollander
