Playoff Roster

Set your 25 man playoff roster as it stands now. Here's mine.

Catcher - Cal

1B - Naylor

2B - Young

SS - Crawford

3B - Donovan

LF - Randy

CF - Julio

RF - Canzone

DH - Ward unfortunately

BENCH

-Pereda

-Robles

-Rodden

Here comes the shocker

I put Laz on the playoff roster. Yes I said it. I trust him more than I do anybody else including Weston Wilson.

Starters

1. Woo

2. Gilbert

2. Miller

Pen

-Kirby

-Kade

-Hancock

-Speier

-Brash

-Munoz

-Ferrer

-Dominguez

-Bazardo

I honestly would rather not have the last 3 knuckleheads in the pen & would prefer someone like Criswell or shit bring up Sloan. See what he can do in limited capacity. I just don't trust those 3 idiots. Laz I feel could very well play his way onto the postseason 25. I'm not that confident in Wilson either. Quite honestly I could take out one of the last 3 if it meant flipping them for Wilson instead. You want it as even as possible. I mean when you got the 3 of Hancock, Kade & IMO Kirby you don't need a big pen. You really don't. Any objections? Who would you leave off?

I object to thinking of this as a playoff team. I would leave off all of them besides Randy, Canzone and Pereda.

I would trust Wilson or Laz over Ward.

Also, I realize Kirby hasn't been great this season or even good at times. However, he does have playoff experience and if he pitches like he did in that Phillies game, I would take him over Miller.

Miller shouldn't pitch again this year, let alone a playoff game. The dude is cooked. Wilson? Damn, a team that starts Miller and plays Wilson over Laz isn't in the playoffs, so I guess we don't have to worry about it.

I'd replace Bazzardo with Sloan and take my chances. Bazz has absolutey no confidence in his stuff at this point and it's batting practice

Youd have to put Sloan on the 40 man roster which otherwise wouldnt be required until 2028

If you put Sloan on the 40 man he is not eligible to play in the minor leagues next season if there is a lockout.
