No one dare cause trouble here with burnings, lootings, mayhem and murder of innocents. The trouble makers would have more holes in them than a sponge if they tried. You don’t see videos of fellow Americans executing each other like you have in inner cities.

Now c'mon... you can't have it both ways. In one case you have Idahoans putting holes in troublemakers. In the other case you say you won't see fellow Americans/Idahoans executing each other. I believe if there are two or more holes in a troublemaker it's generally an execution.

Read for comprehension. I said Aryans in Idaho, not particularly your town. Speaking of towns, I do not live in Seattle as I think you assume. I'm in Bellingham and I'm accepting of everybody... always have been.

I love this site... especially when it's about baseball. But there seems to be an overload of ultra conservatives (I respect that) but if you question even one thing in their post you will get an angry and vitriolic response that rarely answers the direct question.

Damn, this thread was gonna reach 1,000 posts! Barely anyone goes on the politics forum. Anyways, let me get in this last post.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Thursday that as many as 10 times more Americans may be infected with coronavirus than earlier estimates suggested — which means as many as 20 million may have contracted the virus, but also that the mortality rate may be lower than thought.

“Our best estimate right now is that for every case that’s reported, there actually are 10 other infections,” CDC director Dr. Robert Redfield said on a call with reporters Thursday, NBC News reported.

“This virus causes so much asymptomatic infection. The traditional approach of looking for symptomatic illness and diagnosing it obviously underestimates the total amount of infections,” he continued.

So basically, the death rate is low like around 0.3%. About 20M people in this country already got it with most of them having no symptoms or only mild ones. This is similar to 2009-2010 when the CDC estimated that around 60M people in the country had the swine flu. Yet, they didn't shut down the country.
