Gotta admit, part of what's going on is downright entertaining

I'm fortunate to live on a big hill in a pretty well-integrated neighborhood. I'll never have to worry about protesters slogging up in 95-degree heat. My girlfriend said yesterday she wants to get a gun because of what's going on, and I told her that she's never going to have a confrontation with a protester or rioter but it's not a bad idea to have one in case someone jumps her in a parking lot or something. She didn't like that answer because she knew I was telling her she sucks at math.

No one can walk in those shoes, and I lean much closer to the husband and wife waiving their guns than the angry mob. BUT, David has a great point. You are safer inside. I think back to Wyatt Earp saying the mob may get him, but he will take several with him. It has less chance getting ugly if I am in my house ready to open fire if they come in than if I am on the lawn confronting them.

I don't think that stops the mob from breaking windows and throwing a molotov cocktail into the home.

These people had bad intent. They were trying to intimidate. The home owners met intimidation with intimidation. It worked. Only two of them, hundreds of thugs. You and DGee are acting like this is a football game, that they won ugly... so what. Home safe. They're safe. Millions of gun owners across the country cheering them on. Also a message for the thugs... are you ready to play with guns? Normal citizens are quicker to shoot a gun than the police.

For those of you out there that aren't armed yet, good luck getting something you want. Supplies are extremely limited. But I would guess you may need something before November 4th. This has been just a warm up act. a pre-show, if you wish, to what will happen when Trump wins reelection. If I had a business in downtown Seattle, I'd move it out of state in a heartbeat.

I'm kinda hoping Sawant, Carmen Best, and Durkan all run for mayor. I think Ms. Best would win hands down and I hope to God Durkan finishes 3rd.

"Won ugly" LOL, that is a good way to put it. They won ugly, but they did indeed win and the husband owned Chris Cuomo this morning from what I understand.

All you need to know about the protesters' intellect is that this couple was out there panicked, not knowing what they were doing and on the verge of opening fire out of sheer terror and these idiots were just standing there slack-jawed going durp de dur. A smart person goes full Costanza in a situation like that.
