So who is this team, and what did they do with the Mariners?

Whoa. The parrot is unleashed.

Can our pitching hold this lead?

Thats a pretty long inning to have Leake come in and pitch again. Not sure if we have 3 innings out of the bullpen though.

Well that was fun. I'm marking this one as a win, no matter what happens next.

Me too. I’m so depressed I’ll settle for one good inning.

Amazing. The M's were one bad Mallex Smith AB from probably scoring 0 runs for the game... it's amazing what one hit can do.

Actually a fun game to watch for once.

I hope that playing RF makes all the difference for Santana, but I can't wrap my head around a professional baseball player that has played OF for basically his whole life not being able to figure out how to play LF.
Time will tell.

It's an opposite angle.

I can understand how the glove being on the other side of your body than you're used to when chasing down 100mph screaming liners could make a difference when you're trying to adjust at the MLB level with millions of fans scrutinizing every move.

Also, Shed Long does not appear to be the heir apparent at 2B as somebody indicated, imo.
I can attest to that. I've been a left fielder all my life and on those occasions I have to play right field I'm just like whoa this is weird.
Personally had the same issues, didn't want to bring my own experiences into it, but the angles on left side to right side and vice versa can be tricky. Especially when it gets in your head when everything is going wrong.

The switch to RF helped his Offense already.
