I don't think forced "equality" has it's place in arenas that are meant to be competitive. I think it's pretty clear that people from most backgrounds get a fair shot at becoming professional athletes (as you can see by the diverse make up)... that also wasn't always the case... and it took a big social change for everyone to get a shot... These days, in sports, talent makes it on it's own merit... if you can hit 60 home runs there's nobody in the world that's gonna stop you from doing that at the highest level. I would argue that's not always the case when it comes to real-world scenarios... sports are in their own bubble.

Because sports are in their bubble... yes, you're right... I want to win always and have no patience for insane nonsense. I'm never for coddling people like Evan White... I have no sympathy for a guy who is making millions but the lights are too bright for him. I have no sympathy for Mallex cause he's making more money than most people will ever see to suck ass. Wanna know why? Because I have tons of sympathy for people who make no money, have a ton of talent, and aren't given their chance in the real world because there's a system in place that makes it extremely difficult: my liberalism.

I'm hard on a guy like Scott Servais makes $800K to never adapt and live a totally spoiled, worry-free life despite sucking at his job. Where I come from, if you suck at your job, you get fired.
