Well I was a poor person in 1985 making 5.50 an hour working at a butter factory and a poor person in 1990 making 6.20 an hour as a bank teller after four years of college. I didn't get an ounce of help but somehow I and now I am a relatively wealthy person that I didn't game the system (whatever that means) and I am not even that smart or ambitious. I just didn't make excuses or feel sorry for myself for having blue collar parents with no connections or not getting into UW Business school because of affirmative action. I just kept going and it all worked out.
Having just one wife and raising dogs instead of kids helps.... I've lost more money in my lifetime because of not heeding that philosophy.... HOLY SHIT..... WHAT A DEFENSIVE PLAY EVAN WHITE JUST MADE!!!!

I've had two wives and four dogs = at least one two legged kid especially if they are show dogs.

Well, in the words of Harry Doyle, "ONE g*****n hit?"

But seriously, one hit. Against a guy with an 8.41 ERA in AAA. Cue Rot Sports and Scott Servais giving the guy all the credit in the world in 3...2...1...

Mariners lose, WE'RE ZEROS! But we now have exclusive rights to the number two draft choice.... we just have to hold our position and possibly wear down the Pirates... Can we do it?

LL just JACKED about a foul pop up caught by our 1B that is hitting .111 with a .390 OPS.

So you want them to draft another college pitcher. I am confused.

Classic case of "cutting off your nose to spiderface" as Michael Scott would say.

He missed on that hypothetical three run homerun again that most bat-first 1B seem capable of, but did make a pretty spiffy play that may or may not have helped us lose by less, so guess there's a feather in the cap. Unfortunately its a dodo feather.

It's all about run differential now, not "wins" anyways, right
