Crap, I was hoping they threw Torrens and France on a Leer Jet after the Padre game yesterday so they could be in the starting lineup today. Walton is another guy who hit well at Arkansas but looked like a scrub in his 19 plate appearances last season.

Our starting lineup looks so awful, and the Angels' lineup looks solid. How the Mariners have a better record than the Angels is a mystery. A happy mystery.

The have to go through Covid protocols so the half hour they would have saved by taking the Leer jet from Denver to Anaheim probably woundn't have got them in the lineup. ;)

Seager playing today so apparently he hasn't been traded, although if I traded one of my top players I'd sneak him into the lineup to try to get one more win.

Saw that! Whew! I'm actually looking forward to seeing Walton play after hearing his name in the organization for a few years.

When you sell your Mercedes to someone do ask to keep it for a couple of days so you can drive it some more?

Why would you send Marmalardass on 3-2 with one out? Yeah, you're trying to stay out of the double play but considering that he's a guaranteed out on a strikeout the risk/reward factor there is horribly against you, especially in this day and age. Great call, Skipper. 1980 called, they want their strategy back.

Fraley and Odom tie it up. Almost feels like a free run.

With the infield conceding the run, Haggerty can not be striking out there. Tap the ball and a run scores.

Dipoto just on with Blowers and Sims talking about the trades, said that they are pretty excited about the player that we're going to be choosing from Toronto at the end of the season, no later than February. Which tells me it has to be a pretty good list to choose from. All good signs for one of Toronto's middle infielders.

He also said that he thought we were done trading after the Taijuan deal and that Ty France was a huge part of getting the deal done for Nola as his analytical people were just in love with Ty.
