This is the most mind boggling trade I have ever seen.

Preller-Dipoto trade alert! (Because evidently, Sunday's 7-player blockbuster was not enough.)

The Padres got RHP Taylor Williams just before the Deadline, sources say. PTBNL heading to Seattle.
Mariners receive SP Matt Brash in return per MLBTR.com

Only 5 1/3 innings minor league experience, but they've been a good 5 1/3 innings. Not in their top 30 prospect list.

I don't think the PCL had a lot of top prospects last year. He was good enough everywhere else to be encouraged by his hitting, I just wouldn't get too worked up about 1 year in PCL with the juiced ball
Another way to look at it is that everyone else was hitting that juiced ball and he outhit everyone. Plus, he has hit in the show.
My God! I'm just saying don't look at him hitting almost.400 in AAA and say he's the next Fucking Ted Williams.

Damn. What the hell. Who said he was Ted Williams. We all know the PCL was a joke last season but even if discount his OPS by 25% he would still be well over .900.

I simply said don't look at his numbers in AAA and act like it was a revelation and people seem to want to contradict that for some reason, and to discount by 25 % is such a generic random number. It was a clown league and I don't think you can take anything from it personally.

Isn't Trammell a little young to be thinking about freezing his body?

I really liked Austin Nola.
I really Love  this trade.

France looks like the real deal. He was an .800 OPS guy using a high BA high OBP but low ISO. last two years the slugging developed and he had 27 HR in 76 games AAA last year for that 1.249 OPS. 2B, 3B

Andres Munoz closer of the future but is a year away due to TJ.

Trammel top 100 but looks like an all tools type. That said he does walk a lot and so a swing adjustment could yield a big fast prospect with patience.

Catcher looks like a back-up.

Well he has a .858 OPS so it seems to be a far better indicator than Arkansas.

He was in SA in the Texas league in 2018 and had a .798 OPS. In the Majors he's been a .736 OPS between 2 seasons.
