We really haven't made enough out of how good of a pickup he is. Him for Nola straight up would have been a great trade. The guy can flat out rake and he's 25.

France (the country) is a pretty average-paced place. France (the player), no, but I think he'd make a decent backup 2B.

In terms of speed, a backup 2B will make a great 3B. Sold.

France is the perfect DH. A guy that can hit and can give the third baseman second baseman and first basement days off once every 12-15 games.
