the next 5 games will be very telling. 4 division games and the Bills. Pretty much no chance we get thru that unscathed.
3-2 in that stretch puts them in great position, with Eagles-Giants-Jets-Redskins after that should be 4 wins.
Honestly, I don't know what to expect from this team. I remember Super Bowl year, I fully expected every week to be a win. This year (and last, for that matter), it's all about whether RW's greatness is greater than the defense's suckiness and every week is a toss-up.

Just noticed the Bills have a negative point differential and they beat the Rams. Packers are the team I am worried about in terms of the #1 seed. I think it takes at least 13 wins.SeattleAddict wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 6:56 pmthe next 5 games will be very telling. 4 division games and the Bills. way too soon to worry about the #1 seed. Our record looks great, but we're also a couple plays away from 2-3.
This whole season is a crap shoot.

Some teams use their bye week to fix up their D. Hopefully, it's us this year.

I too subscribe to margin of victory as a good predictor in most cases, but throw that out the window for Pete Carroll - just not his M.O. Seahawks could be matched up against the Holy Sisters of the Poor and find a way to keep it a one-score game in the 4th (with Russell leading the game-winning drive of course!)Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 4:44 pm
There's a fragility in teams that rely largely on one player to pull out victories. He does have the best WR corps he's ever had and a slightly better line, but i don't know that you can assume he will continue a pace that would set a new TD pass record and passer rating record. And i think margin of victory is predictive of future success.

The only good team the other 4 unbeatens have defeated is the Bills. Our offense is more potent/explosive than any other team in football except maybe KC. So, out of the 5 unbeatens we make a strong case for being #1 and play in the toughest division.
