NBA Ballmer Style
NBA Ballmer Style
Our old friend and owner of the LA Clippers just pulled a mega deal and will be getting Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. OKC is trading George for a plethora of draft picks and Leonard chose the Clippers over the Lakers and Toronto. The West just got even better. It just makes one wonder what if he had bought the Sonics or what if the Kings had moved to Seattle. Kind of depressing to think about.

And now the Blunder fall into permanent rebuild mode. As an LA resident - this is all awesome news. #FOKC

I guess there's no chance of the Clippers relocating anytime soon now that they have a viable team.
Re: NBA Ballmer Style
I wonder if OKC's mayor can revoke that: https://twitter.com/Sonicsgate/status/1 ... 7609395200
By the way, no more Mayor Corndog but that doesn't mean the corn dog jokes have to stop

Re: NBA Ballmer Style
We tried to warn our OKC brethren that OKC was a small market and all the big boys would flee. OKC will never, ever win an NBA title. Now, that Westbrook is rumored to be on the trading block, I wonder if OKC will keep drawing so well. :lo
As far as the Clippers go, I couldn't be happier. The West is as good as it gets.

Danny O'Neil absolutely NAILS it with his latest article: http://sports.mynorthwest.com/669086/re ... y-thunder/
As I mentioned in years past, the Blunder remind me of the Jazz from the mid to late 90s and the Kings/Jesters from the early 2000s. They were good for a couple of years but could not win that elusive championship. And, their window to win it was small and closed up tight and both teams haven't been in the NBA's upper echelon since. Well OKC, get ready for the inevitable mediocrity to the downright shitty basketball that's a-comin' your way. We'll soon see if you'll back up your so-called "Loud City" bullshit although the only thing that will be loud in your arena will be the booing

Blunder fans already jumping off the band wagon: https://twitter.com/Seattlelife/status/ ... 7172433921
Just goes to show, the fans there are no different than fans in other NBA cities. Although Fat Fuck Bennett needs every seat filled in his arena for games or he's going to cry about losing money. And if he loses too much money, guess what he's going to do!? Yep, either demand (not ask nicely) a new playpen for his team or possibly sell the team. It'll soon be time to put their "Best Fans in the NBA" motto to the test!

I don't like Ballmer so I hope they implode like usual.glenstar wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2019 12:25 amWe tried to warn our OKC brethren that OKC was a small market and all the big boys would flee.
