Is it too early to be sick and tired of Dave Sims ? :?
Never.

I was in television news for a bit and interviewed a young radio jockey trying to make his way in sports. I asked him who is broadcasting idol was and he said, "Dave Simms..." keep in mind this wasn't in Seattle... I choked on my spit and had to collect myself.

Jesus, great pitch to get Rizzo.

Unreal how much Trout and Rizzo look alike.

If you just Dunn is your 6th starter and he pitches like he is now, you have a damn good rotation.

Dunn is a different guy this year.

Stuff is 10-fold better.

It always seems like his pitch placement is like a shotgun blast pattern in his first 15-20 pitches or so -he’s all over the place. But then he tightens it up pretty fast.

Imagine Dave Sims at parties after a few drinks. Blowhard on roids. I would run to the opposite corner of the house even if it was the garage or a crawl space.

I was lucky enough to be visiting Boston back in the day when the infamous Kingdom roof tile incident caused the games to be moved from Seattle to Boston. It was a one pricefirst come first served battle for any seat. I got to watch the Big Unit from right behind home plate.
Never forget that day.. I was fishing on the snake river we Hd to tie our tent camper to our truck to keep it from blowing away. Literally lifted the wheels off the ground. Long sleepless night

Sims just said when he first saw Seager right after he was drafted he looked like he was fresh out of college. Blowers offered a courtesy laugh. Seager was drafted less than a month after his Jr. year.

He just seems to make whoever he's in the booth with uncomfortable... he doesn't have a good feel for adapting his personality for the player or guest he's got on. There's just something off about his style... like he speaks really, really well and he's got all the tools to be a great broadcaster... he's just awkward and unlikeable.
