Regarding the masks - it is what it is right now for youth athletics. Little League mandates that kids, coaches, umpires wear masks. Same with the flag football organization. Instead of being all "Trumptard tough", I choose to help these kids have a good day - playing a sport they love. Do I love wearing a mask? No. It sucks ballz, especially when it's hot out. But I do it, the kids do it. The umpires do it. And you know what - the kids get games in and are have a fucking blast. They didn't have sports last year so the looks in their eyes when they barrel up a fast ball or make a diving play - it's amazing. I'm not going to bitch and whine when it doesn't do anything to help regarding youth sports.

I didn't get upset about the fucktard Husky asking my kids to move to the other side of the playground b/c our baseball practice was starting. Who gives a shit? I have 10 and 5 year old boys that I wouldn't even consider putting a mask on inside, much less outside. Muppet.

I coach at the HS, and Coaches have to wear them full time. It is what it is...pretty much makes sunglasses obsolete, and damn it gets hot. The kids have to wear them unless they are in "competition". During conditioning we had one kid have a severe asthma reaction last week. Outside, more than three feet apart, and we are asking an asthmatic to wear a damn mask to save face. That is all this is is a CYA. What sucks is it is deemed OK because it is better than the complete shut down we were in last year at this time.

First it was go home for two weeks and we will be fine. Then it was stay home, but if you have to go out you have to wear a mask. Then? That wasn't enough so it is get the vaccine, stay at home most of the time...oh, and wear a mask too. The inconsistency, IMO, is what makes these people and their "science" so hard to believe.
