2-2 and we bounce one in front of the plate.

Looks like Haniger is in a slump now. I thought that .900+ OPS was too good to be true. Ty France still holding steady though. May be the only elite bat in this team.

Yes, but if you added consistency to KK, he's a legitimate #2 starter at minimum. If you add consistency to Sheff, he's still a back end starter because his stuff is just not that great in my expert opinion.Petert wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 2:31 amIf you could wave a magic wand and gift both of them with consistency, questions about both would almost evaporate. It’s like ISLTM pointed out a few minutes ago; Sheffield’s stuff is off from what we saw last year. It’s not to say that the ability to be consistent is beyond him or YK. It’s just that neither has been able to reach it with any degree of regularity, yet.TraderGary wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 2:20 amI know I'm in the minority here, but if I was in a must-win game and I could only choose between Sheff or KK, I'm taking KK every time. I say that because KK has the stuff to be dominant at times. We cannot say that about Sheff.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 2:08 am
Good point in that comparison. Kikuchi, even when it looks like he's cruising, puts a couple guys on and then gives up that big blast, the instant two-three runs. Sheff and particularly Dunn tend to avoid that.
As for Sheff being a potential MOR starter with more time and experience, I think that would be the absolute ceiling for him, but I see more of a #5 based on his arsenal. He's still young and hopefully he'll continue to develop and prove me wrong.

France is a professional hitter. Don't expect any protracted slumps from him. Reminds me of Edgar more and more each day.

Exactly the reason why I’d like to see him permanently slotted at DH.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 2:50 amFrance is a professional hitter. Don't expect any protracted slumps from him. Reminds me of Edgar more and more each day.

Can Evan come through with a 3-run jack and tie this up? C'mon Evan, prove the naysayers wrong.
