Does it really matter what issues they run on when a man's wearing a dress?

We're supposed to believe someone who can't define a woman or eat a steak?

Democrats have screwed their party so hard.
Yes. But this is hypothetical. Who is wearing a dress? Do you have evidence, or is this a "people are saying" or "I saw it in the internet" thing?
My question was the hypothetical. You answered Yes.

Lol.

Typical Democrat. Vote for the man in a dress if he's saying what you want to hear. Just ignore the mental illness, it'll be fiiiine.
Who you calling a Democrat?

What if the man in the dress is for strong borders and free markets, and the "other guy" is for open borders and prosperity-killing regulations, taxes, and tariffs? "What you want to hear" trivializes it. Issues and policies matter.

But my question (who is wearing a dress?) was my point. There is a certain segment of internet land that has glommed onto the claims that Talarico is a vegan or is transgender. Don't hide behind saying "conflicting reports." Is there evidence, or just "some people are saying"? We (the citizens of this country) are better than this level of political discourse.

You. Obviously.

We all know someone with right-leaning politics isn't going to be in a dress, so your turnabout question is stupid. Even the biggest polesmoker in conservative politics, Lindsay Graham, doesn't wear a dress. At least not on stage...

Pretty much all Democrats support men in dresses, so it doesn't really matter, does it. They'll never get any sane persons vote.

So who is wearing a dress on stage? Are you saying Talarico is? Evidence?

Obviously we disagree on a couple of things here. One: what I described ("strong borders and free markets") isn't right-leaning. It's moderate and centrist. And sensible (in my opinion).

Two: Sane people judge the whole person, what he or she brings to the table in ideas and skills. I don't know about Lindsey Graham, but clearly people who think what you implied about him is true feel are more important things -- he is a great political ally for a conservative president. Same for the Treasury Secretary, Scott Bessent. Being gay and having worked for George Soros would seem like a description a democrat would love and a republican would hate; don't you think? But clearly President Trump thought Bessent is the best person for the job, and is looking at everything he brings to the table (i.e., not just the fact that Bessent is married to another man).
