I also think it was Paul Allen in one final act of greatness that forced PC to dump his two Coordinators. Hopefully our AD does the same. Time to shave the Bush.Michael K. wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 4:07 amAnd, after a TERRIBLE pick six, the Cougs go right back in the offense. I PROMISE you, Hamden would have curled up into a ball, sucked his thumb and shit his pants while we licked our wounds heading into the half.
The Cougs haven't had any issue with the Ducks for a long time. We are 2 and 14 against them.
Sorry to vent, I will be done....but do we really see a change coming? The AD stepped in and forced Sark to hire an actual DC. Unless that happens soon with us on offense, we are destined to be mediocre.

Cougs still playing to win. I wonder if they will go Wildcat?

I guess the Cougars just recruit better QBs than the Huskies and they feel the offense should be run by the QB and not the 4th string tailback. It is really a novel concept!

How about Utah putting up 30+ on that vaunted Cal defense?

Every excuse we have been given for deficiencies have been blown out of the water. I am tired of the excuses from this staff, especially the offensive side of the ball. I have expressed my frustration at Jimmy, but he is also replacing 9 starters.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 12:58 pmHow about Utah putting up 30+ on that vaunted Cal defense?
This offense has a veteran O Line loaded with guys with pre-season accolades and is lead by a first round pick at QB...and it can't do diddly squat on 3rd down or in the Redzone and it took a couple embarrassing losses to wake the staff up enough to play the young guys at receiver. And even that was tarnished by the insistence to go Wildcat on critical third downs in the latest loss at home.

Any top tier program would fire a coordinator that was getting the results that Hamdan has. If that doesn't happen then i predict trouble ahead for UW. If Petersen wants to be Mr. Loyalty like his NFL counterpart in Seattle, it is going to tarnish his legacy and perhaps even lead to his contract not being renewed.

Smith had one really good year here and a lot of average years. That was with a stud like Gaskin, a good O Line and an all world defense getting him the ball back. That good year was when Tedford was holding his hand.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 3:39 pmAny top tier program would fire a coordinator that was getting the results that Hamdan has. Why is that relevant? If his alma mater hadn't hired him away he'd still be here! Pete won't be letting Bush go unless someone makes him!

If the team keeps struggling on offense and losing games Petersen will have no choice but to sack Hamdan or else take a lot of heat for doing nothing.
Oh wait, i forgot we're talking about the Seattle media. There won't be much heat.
