At what point will the fans stop coming to this mess?

When the team leaves? Just as when there are no consequences for breaking the law you get more crime and anarchy, when there are no consequences for not trying to win a WS there will be more seasons of not making the playoffs and teams with horribly flawed rosters.

Yes the Astros will sweep and SS will say that they got beat due to superior pitching. “That’s Baseball”. Where is the fire in him. He stands in the dugout and looks completely lost. He needs to go. Get someone wanting to win. He doesn’t care about winning, just saving the team money. He must get a bonus based on profit. I made a prediction several weeks ago that they’d be out of first by the all star game and out of the playoffs by August. Missed the All star one but beat the August one.

Exactly he has got no fire which makes him a horrible manager. He will not rip into his guys for playing awful. He is a friend not a boss. He is a big reason why this team sux. If he had fire and let him team hear it maybe it would wake them up. He is not doing anything so they stopped trying. Incoming sweep lucky to get a run or 2 with this lineup.

I know they are giving Stanton what he wants and that is money and that's it. He could give 2 shits bout a championship. As long as fans keep showing up all is good. I wouldn't even take a free season pass to this team. Would rather watch paint dry that's how bad it is. Showed no emotion blowing that 10 game lead. Sadly him and Jerry are butt buddies so he is not going anywhere.
