Last year he was throwing harder. He was hitting 99-100 but couldnt control it.

When he was a starter he sat 92-93 and touched 95.

He came over with Sheff in the Yankees trade for Pax. I have always liked him. He is a country boy hunter fisherman from North Dakota. I follow him on twitter and get to see his out door expeditions in sub arctic temps in the Winter.

Yeah I do remember him coming over in the Pax deal, just didn't recall him throwing that hard before. But ISTLM cleared it up for me. Wasn't throwing nearly as hard as a starter as he is now as a reliever.
