As long as people tune into the games and watch them, the Mariners won't change their formula. I turned it on in the 4th inning last night, saw we were hitless, and turned it right back off. You kill their bottom line and ratings, then they will start to care.

Like it's hurt them over the last twenty years? That's really the beauty of it, people don't need to be watching, not really. What baseball is is content. It's six months of live content. Its like the home shopping network. People have it on but I really don't believe many are really glued to it. I doubt winning or losing makes much difference to their income
