Julio's OPS finally pops over 700 at .711
Never Worried bout Julio. Worried bout Cal. Just strikes out way way to much for 2nd hitter.

This could be a long-ass, high octane game filled with thrills and spills. Lots of scoring, earned and unearned...thank you Joe, although those 4 runs on Woo are all earned.
Or, both pitchers could settle down, be their best selves and the M's will have scratch and claw their way back.

I'm firmly believing that I will continue my game thread streak tomorrow.

Woo throws a ton of fastballs in the zone and so this is what happens sometimes.

Oh... we're at the point where Mitch Garver is DHing against lefties after he was hardly invited to come back.

He should ONLY play on days where he's catching.

Sadly it was a given. Brash is glass. Losing our best reliever just sucks

I think it would serve Woo well to mix it up early in games against young teams like this.

They want to see the fastball and can't hit the spinning stuff... I know his fastball is great, but you gotta pitch to your opponent.

Josh Simpson has only pitched one season in MLB for Miami in 2025. On their AAA team he was pretty good. For Miami, not so much.
For Tacoma this season, 28 y.o. lefty has been damn fine!
