5 deep on CF hitting OFs? Haniger has a slug at .539 w/ t5 homers in the AL. C'mon. And both Kelenic and Trammell can really slug. The only light hitting OF I see is Fraley. But hey, he's showing a propensity to get on base

Hanigers departure will be Jrod's opening, they won't coexist out there with Hanigers' one year left.

Yes, every one of the other guys has been a CF at best offensively.

Assuming you want "above average" to be playoff contenders.

I mean, we can act like Trammell a corner outfielder, but if his OPS is ranked 20th among LF's, is it OK?

Not by me.

So on Trammell, the guy has all of 106 PAs at the MLB level. I say we give him 1000 before we start to say who he is or what he is. That said, out of 15 hits in those 106 PAs (yes, not good yet) 8 are for extra bases and 5 are homers. That's showing good slug ISO. He'll be good once he makes the adjustments to create more contact.

Yeah, our guys will always be good once they're good.

Problem is they never get there and we're left having wasted 4 years.

I'll give it to you, Trammell is one of the few that looks like a ballplayer, but the proof is in the pudding and his pudding's a bit thin so far.

also not to be to critical but if you get upset about context not being used then use it for lewis roy award where he had one good month. is he a player or Shane spencer?

It just blows my mind how defeatist some, okay most, Mariners fans are!

STOP IT, GUYS!! The Mariners have talent. Sure the GM isn't perfect, but which is? Even the Rays Neander, LAs Zaidi and Boston's Bloom have made their share of poor moves. Dipoto is starting to get the better end of the stick on the vast majority of his moves.
Really? The Vast Majority of his moves???? This guy is the "American Picker" of all GMs, picks up more junk than a capital hill hoarder...
1) Yacksel Rios
2) Steven Moyers
3) Eric Campbell
4) Travis Blankenhorn

6) Logan Veritt
7) Daniel Zamora
8) Zack Weiss
9( Ty Kelly
10) Williams Jerez
11) Jacob Nottingham
12) Kenny Taylor
13) Anthony LaPree
14) David Huff
15) Tyler Herb
16) Caleb Joseph
17) Brooks Ponders
18 Ryan Dull
19) Matt Pierpoint
These are his acquisition moves for the Mariners..... just in the last 5 weeks. I'm sure the "vast" majority of these moves are bullseyes...
