Gonzaga might not join the Pac after all. It's hard to see what would be in it for them. They are almost guaranteed a tournament berth every year in the WCC.
Even though they do not have a football squad they would get a full revenue share.

Current:
WSU, OSU, Boise State, Utah State, Fresno State, S.D. State,

Pac 12 targets that are known:

UNLV Vegas market #40 and shared stadium with Raiders is an excellent facility and prime location for conference "Bowl games, championships, etc."

Air Force Denver #17 market, Colorado market but also you have the Air Force military following. I am an Army vet and "Go Army Beat Navy!" is a known and I will take in at least 1 Army game a year if I can.

BYU is far and away the biggest Mormon school. They have good athletics programs both basketball and football, and are well funded with good research and academics. They would bring the Salt Lake City market (#27) and the would have the added draw of being the flagship Mormon school.

The Pac has lawyers trying to force the the removal of the exit fee in the AAC to get their 4 big schools. The report said:

Tulane = New Orleans #51 and another Vegas like Bowl/ party city USA 14K students / 30K stadium capacity
Memphis = another big market #26 and excellent basketball program to pair with Zaga. 22K students, 58K+ football stadium.
USF Market Tampa/St. Pete, 49K students, #28 market, Raymond James Stadium 75K,
U.T. S.A. San Antonio is the # 45 market, student # is 35K,

I would also like to add

U.N.T. Dallas market # 12 , 46K students, 30K stadium, this is the 3rd biggest college in Texas ahead of: U of Houston, Rice, UTA, Tex. Tech, etc

We find a way to pull back Stanford/Cal from ACC because Clemson and FSU their premium programs want to leave.

PAC West

1. Stanford Bay area
2. Cal Bay
3. SDSU San Diego
4. Boise St
5. UNLV Vegas
6. Fresno
7. WSU
8. OSU
9. Gonzaga BBall only*

PAC Gulf
1. Memphis Ten.
2. Tulane N.O.
3. U.T. S.A. San Antonio
4. Air Force Denver/ Military
5. Colorado state
6. Utah State
7. UNT Dallas
8. BYU Mormon world Salt Lake City

Now they are suing the Mountain West conference over the penalty they agreed to if they did poach teams from their conference, go figure

https://africa.espn.com/college-footbal ... eral-court
I saw that! Even more hypocrisy! All the screaming about who has to pay them what, and now they don't want to pay when they are the ones poaching teams? Hilarious. You can't make this shit up.

I'm sure the excuse will be the all too familiar grade school cry of "they started it!" This is funny as shit. What hypocrites. And all because a committee, of which the biggest bitch in this entire thing, the WSU President, was a part of...turned down ESPN asking for $50 million per school. What a fucking dolt.
You sound upset. I have no idea why.

OSU and WSU are simply making decisions that are best for them. When they didn't have a conference the MW charged them 15M to have the "honor" of scheduling 6 games against MW schools. And they were forced to sign the stupid poaching thing. But, they should pay the 4 big AAC schools and out bribe the MWC 10M to each of Air Force and UNLV.

And really the PAC 12 should have been a lot more aggressive and added the premium teams of the MWC, Gonzaga, and the 5 from the AAC making two 11 team football conferences while adding Gonzaga to one.

The Pac 12 has come has come back home to their table and are ready to eat. Now go make me a sandwich.

Did you believe that the other ten teams in the old PAC made decisions that were best for them? Or where you on the Go To Guy train blaming everyone else for why the Cougs and Beavers were left out? I hate hypocrites, and this is straight up classic. Boo hoo, look at everyone leaving us, it’s not fair. Then shortly there after they are doing the same.

I felt the same about Husky fans ripping on DeBoer, then praising Fisch for doing to AZ exactly what DeBoer did to the UW.
