Random side note: it looked like Sherman and Chancellor were on the Seahawks sideline talking to the players pre game. Not 100% about Sherman but it looked like him

Sherman? Really?
Yeah, it sure looked like him
I'm surprised they would let him on the sidelines. He plays us next week. It's not like he left on great terms either.

Both him and Chancellor were hugging most of the players then when the crowd of people walked up to their seats from the field, they went with them

As noted, the Bucs hung 55 on the Rams. Also notable is that the Ravens scored 30 against the Hawks and 37 against New England's "#1" defense. And the Hawks had 145 yards rushing versus that #1 rushing defense.
Maybe we don't suck as bad as all that.
I was just thinking about how much Russell Wilson helped to open the door for dual threat QBs. It is a new NFL now, but all them guys better learn to throw too.
Actually, the Ravens only scored 16 on our defense...they had a pick six and a scoop and score on defense. They had a scoop and score against the Pats also, but it sounds even better when you say our defense gave up 16 and their's gave up 30!

I get your point on Russell opening the door, and call me a homer, but there are no Russell's. Jackson is far more RG III than Russell. I can't think of many that remind me of Russ.
No disrespect to Jackson, but I think the Seahawks would have beat the Ravens in similar fashion to the TB game if the weather was nice.

I'll say this for Jackson....he's a better passer this year than last year. Some more improvement and he could be very good, similar to Kaepernick in his better years. Murray is a more accomplished passer now than Jackson, and is also a very quick runner. But I don't think these guys or Mayfield get the same draft positions and playing time without Russell Wilson's blazing the way.

No he isn't. There's where people underestimate Jackson. He can throw man. Seahawks played him perfectly. They stopped the pass and tried to contain his scrambles conveniently. Almost worked. 16 points and no TDs till 4th quarter.

Yeah, quite honestly, it was the offense that let us down that day. BUT....imagine how different things are if we score instead of them on the pick six? Entire game swung on that play...for two reasons. Was potentially a 14 point swing, and Pete and Schotty called the game a little scared after.

Yeah, that was what I was referring to. It is going to happen, but if that play had been designed to go to DK, we score and it is a 14 point swing. Changes everything. And, like I said, I thought that even though we threw it more than normal, we got pretty conservative after that.

Very rare for a play to be designed to go to one player. Wilson just F'd up. Only time this year.
