The Rangers are scarry now. If they sign Kyle for 3rd Base he kills it in Texas.
Big whoop. Is Kyle going to magically learn to not swing out of his ass against sweeping breaking pitches and drive the ball to left field?
Rangers don't have pitching yet though. We have the weakest offense but pitching wins over offense. Rangers are gonna score a ton more then us but they will also give up a ton of runs also. This division is gonna be tough this year.

I don't think he would have to. He would have all kinds of protection in the lineup and he loves hitting there.
At the Old stadium he was a .301 career hitter with a .901 OPS. In the new stadium he has hit .306 with a .995 OPS. Could be looking at Adrian Beltre part 2.

This semi lucid theory that the Rangers still suck has seemingly changed with a checkbook....Imagine that.......We take Semien away from those guys and it doesn’t move their needle. Now they likely are never going to be a doormat for the next 5 years and exactly the same time frame we expect to contend. Ya good luck getting to 90 wins again with how we sit today......No we need offense and we need it badly

I'd be happy with any two of this combination.

Baez has played 104 games starting 65 at 3B so he is a better option than Story imo.

Story has a career wRC+ of 125 at Coors and 98 on the road. I wouldn't let that guy come near Jerry.

I don’t like Baez and his SO rate along with overall OBP. They both have warts and would rather pass

Kyle Seager is a career .263 avg / .802 OPS player in Away games.

Trevor Story is a career .241 avg / .752 OPS player in Away games.

At this point I'd be more in line with Chapman or Donaldson. Don't need no high SO guys.
