Now they're back in another slump having lost six of seven. Either they're red-hot or ice-cold.
Well, they are playing 17 games in January....you know they are dragging

I think that most of the league has a similar schedule though, Olympic years are like that.

I heard on the radio that Grubauer is having a good season. Yet somehow they still suck... :?

He's third in the league in save percentage. Just baffling that he's suddenly this good after four shitty seasons. He's carrying the team which is still barren of hockey talent. The team's leading scorer (Eberle) is still the lowest in the entire league. Even so, they're 24-28 and if the season ended today they'd be right at the final playoff spot.

Apparently Shane Wright is on the trading block, I guess now we know why he was projected to be the #1 pick yet three franchises took a pass on him. 18 points in 52 games this season. Those are practically Goon Stats.

This organization is devoid of anyone that can assess talent at all.

They are really really bad at their jobs.

Beniers is a good player but not #2 overall pick good. As for Wright, last season he was starting to come into his own but has taken a big step back and probably just doesn't want to play in Seattle any more.

What's really killing the team is Stephenson's contract. It was terrible at the time it was signed and it's terrible now. They should have made Wright the #2 center and let him play with the better wingers. Five more years on that contract after this one, ugh.

And yes, it's pretty sad that for the fifth year in a row the Kraken aren't going to have a player scoring more than 70 points while every other team in the league has.
