that's the model on my mind. Lenard Williams, Rashid Shaheed, Percy Harvin, Jamal Adams, Max Unger, marshawn Lynch. Trade for the player they want before they hit FA and sign them to an extension. I think Maxx Crosby fits the model. I don't see them going after Henderson, I don't see him fitting the model, either as a player or how JS goes about acquiring players. But we shall see, that's my predictionD-train wrote: ↑Sat Feb 07, 2026 11:30 pmCrosby would be a huge swing. He has never done that before. That would be a lot of Draft capital and our picks are at the bottom of every round.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sat Feb 07, 2026 11:08 pmLet's see, you're more dialed in them me. mostly agree with that except they need to add an Edge. Uchenna's production has fallen off, not to mention his injury history, and D Law has been great but he's very old. Mafe possibly out the door as well - definitely need new blood, and with this being a weak draft and drafting 32nd, and the SB window being now (favoring vets over rookies), have to think that means going after Crosby via trade (as preferred) or spending big on a FA.

Oh, Hendrickson lol... I'm reading now, comments from Crosby, seems conciliatory in tone. Supposedly him and Davis are pretty tight. I'm gonna guess now he doesn't get traded. I mean even with the pundits already having him traded. As I understand it they don't want to trade him, he'd have to ask to be traded. I'll bet he gets with kubiak and Davis and gets back on board.D-train wrote: ↑Sun Feb 08, 2026 3:12 pmWho is Henderson???Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sun Feb 08, 2026 2:12 amthat's the model on my mind. We basically lived at Teriyaki Plus- 205th & Ballenger in the 90s- Moved away from Seattle in 2009 and still cant believe I can day to day function without Teriyaki- Anything outside of the PNW is basically just a rice bowl-D-train wrote: ↑Sun Feb 08, 2026 2:06 amWhen I came back from basic training in 1986 my buddies said you have to try Toshi's in Lynnwood. Only a mile from my childhood home. $2.75 for a half chicken, Rice and veggies. I would pay $50 to have that meal right now.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sun Feb 08, 2026 1:49 amYeah, and it can all be traced to one guy, Toshihiro Kasahara. Its insanity. They don't us a charbroil grill to cook the meat. Its like the Boil it and pour Teriyaki sauce on it and call it good.Nwadventure wrote: ↑Sun Feb 08, 2026 4:05 pmWe basically lived at Teriyaki Plus- 205th & Ballenger in the 90s- Moved away from Seattle in 2009 and still cant believe I can day to day function without Teriyaki- Anything outside of the PNW is basically just a rice bowl-D-train wrote: ↑Sun Feb 08, 2026 2:06 amWhen I came back from basic training in 1986 my buddies said you have to try Toshi's in Lynnwood. And its an almost impossible task to try and explain what "Seattle Teriyaki" is to an outsider- Friend used to make fun of me for being so into teriyaki- Until he moved to Bend/OR and finally understood what he was now missing- lol
I probably have over a hundred teriyaki photos and know all the places that are still doing it good- I remember the first North/Seattle Toshi's on Northgate way next to the old Olympic Sports way back in the day and I think at first they were only doing bone/in and then discovered the boneless magic and it took off from there -

There is a place here in Wenatchee that is pretty good but they cut the meat into such small pieces it gets over done. No idea why they would do that.Nwadventure wrote: ↑Sun Feb 08, 2026 4:43 pmAnd its an almost impossible task to try and explain what "Seattle Teriyaki" is to an outsider- Friend used to make fun of me for being so into teriyaki- Until he moved to Bend/OR and finally understood what he was now missing- lol

And instead of being $2.75 like it was in 1986 it is now $15!
