When I lived in Boston and LA I had to pay over $30 a game for Hawks and Huskies so 61 cents feels like a bargain even to watch a team I hope will lose in order to slightly increase the slight chance that Jerry is fired.

I don't pay $160 per season for mlb.com. Even if I watched each game with the same rapt interest as a cat watching a laser pointer it’s convinced is edible - I still wouldn't pay that fee. Blackout restrictions. Games that aren't blacked out but that they decided to host on some other random platform. Paying extra for playoff games that are broadcast on other networks. It's bonkers.

By the way there are no more blackouts anymore. Really it's only Apple TV a few Friday nights a game that are the nuisance so maybe I pay $0.63 a game

People have been telling me the past couple days that Jerry shouldn't be fired because the failure this season was not do to him it was due to injuries and underperformance. But this is exactly why you GO FOR IT EVERY season.

Woo has had a better second half, but everyone else has collapsed. That would include Castillo who has completely fallen apart with the White Sox. Came in yesterday to mop up and gave up a grand slam.

Saw a video of a 10 run comeback that the M's had against the Padres in 2016 (Jerry's first Season). Some of the guys hitting during the comeback included, Stephan Romero, Sean O'Malley, Chris Ianetta, Nori Aoki and Dae Ho Lee. Lee, O'Malley and Romero had Pinch Hit for Seth Smith, Adam Lind and Luis Sardinas.

It was cool that they had that one comeback but the thing that stuck out to me is just the trash roster. Jerry has done this for 11 years and somehow still has a job. It's mind boggling.

Greatest comeback in Mariner history and it was done by THAT lineup. Just like the largest blown lead in a game in MLB history was done by the team that won the most games in one season in MLB history. Proof that anything can happen on any day to anyone.

What is it with people who don't even take a couple minutes to look things up before posting on X and then completely embarrass themelves. It isn't politics where everyone's just throwing shit up against a wall and hoping it'll stick, it's sports and especially baseball where you have instant access to statistics.
