They also said by beating them we showed that the gap between them and us isn't very large. So we beat them at home but they are still definitely better than us? YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP.

So, we beat them at home, but because it took them a missed kick in OT and four first downs from penalties, not to mention several missed that should have benefitted us....and they are better than us? Genius.

Obviously these rankings are meaningless but imagine if a college football team that was ranked #1 in the CFP rankings lost and stayed at #1. There would be freakin Civil WAR!

Well... Ravens won at Century link and I don't think they are better than Hawks.

guess it depends on how you view what the power rankings mean. That even though the 9ers lost to the Hawks, he feels they are still the best team in the league. I think its a unique way to view it but it makes sense to me if that is what he is saying, its his poll. The deal with college rankings is there is a lot of weight to going undefeated, nobody expects a NFL team to go undefeated. He isn't going to give much consideration to the 9ers finally losing a game

Gordon on is overtime catch

“I was just being where I was supposed to be at the right time in the play, but most of the credit’s got to go to Russell,” Gordon said. “He put the ball so perfect that you just kind of hold your hands out and just squeeze on tight to it, you know.”

Gordon was asked about his budding relationship with his new QB afterward.

“We made eye contact a lot, so some plays I think we know — you would like to do this, but let’s maybe kind of (be) conservative, whatever it is, and be a team player,” he said. “We know we’re going to have opportunities coming up down the road. This game we had a few, but we backed out of them. You might have seen me going in and out of the game a lot. I think moving forward, we’re going to be able to build that continuity, that relationship, that rhythm and get into doing what we love to do — and that’s really make plays.”
