My anxiety was so bad on Monday. I took Lynda to work for her 5:30am to 7:00am shift came home and had 2 triple Vodkas before picking her up at 7am. Quit on Tuesday. Day 3 feeling MUCH better...

My saving grace is it puts me to sleep, three beers and I'm out. I really can't drink enough to be a legit alcoholic. Others it energizes, my ex here is that way. She'd only drink occasionally but when she did it would tend to lead to boxing and she is tough. I really can't take any of that anymore, I'm an old man.

Seems you need some kind of outlet, a constructive way of smoothiing out the mood swings

My earlier point that K9 had matured into a better runner by being more patient and trusting his blocks more was
not just a comment on him. I get the load management discussion, but what I want to point out is the Walker that
jittered, baked, and lost a yard. Or, bounced out of the hole before it even was a hole to bail to the outside,
Hadn't really separated himself enough from Charb to justify getting way more carries than Charb. We discussed this
many times last year. Playoff Walker was better and not just because there was no Charb. KC appears to be getting
playoff K9 at the moment. Jahmyr Gibbs gets $22 mil/yr.

I understand Donn B's point, but I think he's pushing it too far. When Florio's piece came out, that is pretty much
the first we had heard K9 was whining at all! I think the relationship could have been saved. Walker is a good guy.

John Schneider has a drinking problem. There's partying like the players at the parade, and there's stinky, staggering
slurring your words dumb fuck drunk like JS at the parade and ring ceremony. It obviously hasn't hurt the team, but
normal adult drinkers don't get seen in public like that twice.
I'm a drunk who hasn't drank in 15 years. I was the guy in Donn's story with the case of beer in the back seat at 7am
going to work.

Have you considered edibles for anxiety? I would imagine they are way easier on your body than alcohol which is so hard on it. Look into low dose edibles, I think 10 milligrams or something like that is a fairly low grade dose and may help you.

You don't know that.

Of all the other signings/extensions that they prioritized above keeping Walker, the contract they offered Shaheed stands out because it was for a similar amount and same number of years, and his value was mainly as a special teams player. Had they signed Walker, it is my opinion that they wouldn't have made Shaheed that offer and that it was the most questionable one they made.

In any case, i never stated it was an either/or scenario for the Seahawks. I am simply posing the question "who would you rather have?".

You are mis-interpreting that quote. He didn't say "he didn't want to play there anymore"
He was asked when he realized he wasn't coming back to Seattle. He realized he wasn't going to be there because Seattle didn't want to bring him back. His agent was trying to negotiate and they were not interested. The plan was to let him walk from the get go.

Near the end of the season last year, mostly after Charbs went down, Walker changed his running a little. He was more patient. He was trusting his blocks more. It was paying dividends. His best two runs in a game were just as likely to be between the tackles as the "bounce and go around" run. I thought it was a big enough deal to redefine where the ceiling was for K9. I thought there was good reason to kiss ass a little and do what K9 wanted to keep him on the team. He's not a dipshit like DK and Woolen. Anyone who could babysit drunk John Schneider at the SB parade can't be a bad guy.

I'm not but hurt it turned out the way it did. I think it's fun having a dude like Shaheed on the team too. I like Price so far. I'm just saying I think there was a good case to be made to pay him enough and promise him a higher percentage of the carries.

I think its a bit of a stretch to suggest that somehow Walker found something late in the season that somehow changes his projection moving forward. He was a mixed bag even late in the year. 56 Yards against the Vikings, 29 yards against Atlanta, 17 Yards against the Colts, 51 Yards against Carolina. Charbs went down in the last game of the year so it was really only the Playoffs where he was the bell cow. In the playoffs he had 2 big games in dominating wins where the Hawks were in control the whole game and were running the ball a ton to control the clock. In the one close game against the Rams he had a mediocre. 62 Yards and 3.3 per carry.
