Well, I suppose we should be interested if the M's are shedding salary and also raising prices. Maybe they are going to spend for REAL MLB TALENT instead of the garbage they have been trotting out, telling us they are poor. We should be happy with a 54% winning percentage. After all, 88 wins should be enough to sniff at a playoff spot. That's all ownership expects. Imagine a job where all you need to do is put out 54% and your manager is OK with that!

Soto to the Yanks.

Trade apparently involves Michael King and Drew Thorpe and more... according to the MLBTV site... a massive overpay by the Yanks with just those 2 players.

The problem is that idiot calling out 54%, and that we should be happy about it...doesn't realize that you can win 54% over that span of time, but not just 54% every year. This asshat is trying to win just over half the games every year. That equals one playoff appearance in over two decades. Fuck him.

Deloach is this years Cade Marlowe, although I’m not quite sure he’s as good. He Kd quite a bit in AAA, slightly more than Marlowe did in 2022, his numbers were almost identical last year to Marlowe in 2023, but he was more consistent throughout the year.

Marlowe deloach is pretty equal to Kelenic Marlowe though
I started a firestorm on X last night say DeLoach was a better option than JK. His jilted groupies still fresh with broken hearts came out of the woodwork to tell me I was crazy!!!!
I’d say Marlowe is at least as good this year as JK was going into last year, and DeLoach is similar this year to Marlowe last year. Ultimately we aren’t worse off than last year as OF lefties go. Note this year they don’t have Teo, so need a replacement for him.
The poster formerly known as Kingfelixk. With a new forum comes a new boardname. Julio is my guy, plus we share a birthday, so that's Culiooooo

Good point and if they land Randy and Paredes we are better at RF and 3B.

Most Hot Stove tweet ever. This is actually Ryan Dempster but a ridiculous tweet.

Says it is likely. Not a done deal. Not a big deal but lets wait for final confirmation. Thanks.
