I think we can do better than Cory or Correa for that matter.... And I think Kyle might have a resurgence of sorts in the AL East. That's Disneyland for left hand sluggers with warning track power....
So more than 35 HRs? Those parks won't help his shit .214 average or .280 OBP.
For what it's worth, Seager is hitting .261 with a .323 OBP in Away games, along with an .861 OPS

22 homeruns in Away games, 13 at Home

That was all BS. It is obvious everyone on the team and in the front office knows he ain't coming back.

The send off and tears prove it.

Oh yeah that's right. I never understand how different parts help batting averages though.

Today's emotional sendoff seemed like goodbye, not let's get it next year.

For his part, Seager told Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times he hasn’t heard from the front office about the status of his option. In something of an eyebrow-raising comment, the veteran third baseman added he hasn’t spoken with president of baseball operations Jerry Dipoto “in years, probably four years. We don’t communicate at all. Not even passing by in the hall. If he spoke to my agent or anything like that, I haven’t heard anything.”

Hasn’t talked to Dipoto in 4 years? Does that seem strange to anyone else?

Its f-ing insane. I saw yesterday that JD didn't like his contract and decided to hold it against him. Well now the last of Jack's guys are go so he has zero excuses going forward.

From first pass, yes, simply because I think we get the impression that Jerry, being a former pro himself, must connect on that level with the players, and maintain some kind of camaraderie. But distancing perhaps is something that DiPoto just 'does' to maintain a purely business perspective about things, and keeps the relationship to players strictly through the players' agents.

Still, you think he'd say "Hi, how's it going ?" occasionally. :D

If that's the case, I'm going to start calling him 'DickPoto'.

I don't believe this, either there has been bad blood between or it isn't true.
Even if true it is a classless statement.
Seager has been very critical of the organization and kind of led the revolt against the Graveman trade.
In any relationship it has to be a two way street.
Just like the comments made at the trade deadline here is Seager again accusing Dipoto of some kind of bad behavior.
It sounds to me like he is doing everything in his power to make sure he gets released.
Why not just say it, " I want out"? Because those kind of words might cost him suitors on the open market. Perhaps some orgs might be wondering about him right now as he says these things.
I probably like him as a person and player but he and Divish are using each other to their own ends.
