Less BOBO

Post by rockycola » Sat Mar 21, 2026 12:14 am

Sorry to see Jake depart. Good luck to him in Jaguarville.
I doubt if Seahawks will match.....but there's a chance.

By Connor Byrne | at March 20, 2026 2:37 pm

'The Jaguars are signing Seahawks restricted free agent wide receiver/special teamer Jake Bobo to an offer sheet, Field Yates of ESPN reports. It’s a two-year, $5.5MM deal that includes $4.5MM in fully guaranteed money, according to Albert Breer of SI.com. The Seahawks will have five days to match.

Seattle tendered Bobo, who went undrafted in 2023, at the original-round level ($3.52MM). That means the Seahawks will not receive any compensation if they allow Bobo to leave for Jacksonville."

Rats! I just read something on Facebook earlier today that he was upped and signed with the Hawks and will be back. Do you mean everything I read on Facebook might be bullshit? Say it ain't so, Rockaroo!

I don’t get it. It sounds like the Jags offer is 2.75 million per year for two years. I thought they had to pay 3.5 million to offer. Anyway, considering the Seahawks won’t get a comp pick if he’s gone, I hope that means they will match it.

Facebook? LOL I spend like 3 minutes a week on that Dinosaur. I bet the average user is about 79 years old.

FB is dominant in the Philippines. It's used as a basic means of communication as opposed to the phone system. FB calls are free, you can use it even without a phone load. If I'm looking for a business I'll look for a FB page as opposed to a website. Everything really turns around FB. I'm gonna guess it's like that in other countries. I'm curious actually.

I wonder how we are going to replace Bobo's 2 receptions he had this past season. Pressure is really on Shaheed to step it up now.

I have a cousin that is a couple years older than me. SVP for Alaska airlines. She has worked there for over 35. Absolute facebook addict. Her and her goofy husband do all these goofy events and she takes almost 100 pics and posts them every single day. Most bizarre behavior I have ever witnessed on social media. Imagine pictures like this only x 100,000. I mean how can she possibly think people care about this nonsense.

That’s a pretty accurate snark comment actually, but on the other hand, if Bobo was that insignificant the Seahawks wouldn’t have done the tender and JAX sure as hell wouldn’t have offered a semi decent contract.

Good point but more importantly did you enjoy the pics of my cousin's salads and share them with your friends and family so you could impress them by knowing a guy named D train that you have never met that has a loony cousin that eats and takes pictures of salads.

Social media. My God.

It's interesting how worthless pictures have become. Go back a couple hundred years and they had tremendous value just for being a picture, today we are drowning in them.

Bobo has STs value. The seahawks tendered him so the have the opportunity to match. So let's see what they do,. If they weren't interested then why do it? They blew the opportunity for another draft pick
