Several months late due to their refusal to accept what almost everyone else could see. Utterly pathetic.

Finally. Garver should have never been here to begin with. Refblower should have been cut in May. Pereda should have never been sent down.

Pathetic.
Shows their intentions of keeping Garver and Refsnyder on the team was hoping they'd build their value back up enough to trade and save some of their salary.

Just the most baffling love affair ever with a player. Garver was 0-32 in his career at T-Mobile prior to our signing him. NOBODY else signs someone who is that unsuccessful in their ballpark. I guarantee that nobody else in 157 years of Major League Baseball has ever done anything like that. Then after wasting 25+ million and watching him not hit for two seasons, we inexplicably bring him back to watch him not hit for another 2/3 of a season. I mean, who DOES that?Southpaw773 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 04, 2026 7:19 pmFinally. Garver should have never been here to begin with.

Wasn't he Kirby's personal catcher? They were also "only" paying him 2mil this year as a backup catcher so they may have thought 1-2 days a week and to keep Kirby happy it was worth it.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 04, 2026 7:29 pmJust the most baffling love affair ever with a player. Could be, but doesn't make it the smart move.
