Once upon a long, long time ago in a romar galaxy far, far away there was a Husky by the name of Terrence Ross, playing two seasons for Lo's 2010-11 & 2011-12 teams that went 24-7 overall both seasons. Terrence played one or both years with other basketball players named Isaiah Thomas, Justin Holiday, Suggs, Wilcox, Simmons, Gaddy, Overton, N'Diaye, Wroten, Andrew Andrews, even Shawn Kemp, Jr.
What I liked about those teams was the constant passion, fire, communication, competitiveness and pressure they played with on the court.
My bad, but of all those players, Ross seemed the least fiery and passionate and at the time I didn't think much about him. What do I know? He was drafted 8th overall in the 1st round of the 2012 NBA draft and has carved out a 8 year career so far.
Why the history? Last night for the Orlando Magic Terrence Ross poured in 35 points off the bench in a loss to the Heat. His other contributions in that game? Zero rebounds. Zero assists. Zero blocks. Zero steals.
Just seemed to remind me of the current Huskies somehow. Oh, he did have a turnover and 2 fouls.
Anyway, Huskies (13-16, 3-13 Pac-12) at Arizona Sun Devils (19-10, 10-6 Pac-12) at 6:00 P.M. tip-off tonight id there is any interest.
How much will Hop's men lose by tonight? Yawn.................

They will lose to AZ and lose in the first round to USC. Season will then, thankfully, be over. What an abomination this team has been!
