UW Football Game 2, verses The Big House

Post by Walla Walla Dawg II » Fri Sep 10, 2021 1:54 pm

Well, after last weeks shit-show, I don't why we are even keeping track any more. No team that loses to a FCS school will ever make the playoffs or have any respect throughout the season.....but here we are anyway.

Oh yeah, I remember why we're here; it's because we bleed purple and gold...
GO DAWGS!!

This weeks installment is our UW Dawgs against the Crybaby Harbaugh team from Michigan.
I see this as a low scoring game. It will all depend on how long our offense can keep the ball from Michigans offense. If we have too many three-and-outs, we will lose. A lot of three-and-outs and we lose big.

I think our offense will establish [enough of a] running game and keep the ball from Michigan.

Our defense will do what they always do.

UW 17
UM 14

UM goes for a 50 yard field goal as time expires....and misses. Later on, Harbaugh is seen hugging his teddy bear in his office knowing that their season is over.

I'll bet Harbaugh really wants to inflict pain on the good people of Seattle. I wouldn't be surprised if he tries to run up the score like Stanford vs USC.

It seems unlikely that Lake and Donovan have enough brain power between them to come up with an offensive plan that will score more than one touchdown against Michigan. They might score on a defensive turnover or two with a very short field but they don't seem at all capable of a sustained drive against Michigan. The Dawgs haven't played an away game since November 2019! I can't imagine them beating Michigan at home but for some reason I'm looking forward to watching the game. Must be that purple and gold blood syndrome. Michigan 24, Dawgs 10

I guess we're going to have a reasonably full receiving corps, but we still have a QB who isn't even as good as Jake Haener.

A win today would be even more shocking than last week's loss.

I don't know about that. If so, it is only because of last week's loss. Going into the season i think most of us were naively hopeful that UW was "gonna be a contenda".

Of course its because of last week. We score 7 points vs. a minor league team and then beat U of M in the big house would be close to a miracle.

Come on, now that they've got their starting WRs back that offense is really going to take off!
