Recent days I've fallen in love with this guy (figuratively of course). Threw for 500+ yards as a freshman, started 4 years, then as a senior threw 4300 yds on 67%, 40+ TDs and only 7 Int. He's experienced, successful, and can play. His freakishly small hand size reminds me of Dave Krieg, and I think it's one of those unimportant stats that causes players to drop. Malik Willis has the Lamar Jackson ceiling, but I don't have confidence in anybody that "isn't ready". Pickett is ready. He's mobile, a good runner, but doesn't have the blazing speed so people forget.
The bonus is that NOBODY has him going top 10, AND nobody has really tied him to the Seahawks, which I think is significant. I think bringing in Ridder was a smoke screen. So use that #9 pick to get a star EDGE, T, or CB, then maybe Pickett drops to 40. The biggest danger would be the Stealers taking the home-town boy.
and then there was this:

I'm still 100% on board the "build the roster" train, but give me somebody at QB to have some hope for.
I've decided Kenny Pickett is going to be our guy

His decision to not play in the Peach Bowl concerns me. I assume it was based on putting himself over his team and his university.SeattleAddict wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 8:20 pmRecent days I've fallen in love with this guy (figuratively of course). How long until the league penalizes the fake slide?

so, we also can't take: Kayvon Tribododeaux, Kyle Hamilton, George Karlaftis, Charles Cross, Breece Hall, or anybody from Ohio State?
We shouldn't have looked at Deebo Samuel, Leonard Fournette, Christian McCaffrey or Justin Herbert?
I am also old-school and prefer kids play, but it's the new reality. Bowl games have become a joke, and people looking at a big payday aren't going to waste their time.
Re: I've decided Kenny Pickett is going to be our guy
To be fair Kyle Hamilton was already hurt coming off a knee injury and missed like 5 games before the bowl game.
Re: I've decided Kenny Pickett is going to be our guy
He could be what did he run a 4.73 that is 0,04 seconds slower than Rodgers but does he have that Rodgers ability to get a free play once a game?
