I might check Jordan Cowan's Horoscope tonight to see if he has a chance to make the team.

I would like to see if Walton is better than Moore. I know the league formerly known as the PCL is a hitters paradise but his .304/.915 leads me to think he can at least hit better than Moore's .180/.600

I doubt he is any better. Walton has over 100 MLB Plate appearances and has a .575 OPS.

Yeah but I think he is a better hitter now.

Maybe but if he is probably not by much. Neither one of them will be kept around for their bat anyway. That spot will be for pinch running, defensive replacements and emergency shortstop. I think Moore is pretty good in that role. Not sure how well Walton is regarded at those things.

Doyle left off Ryan Weber. He gets cut like Marcus Wilson. This shows 24 pitchers and 19 position players left.

I cut Margevicus, Newsome, and Haggerty. I make other cuts when I sign some FAs.

I wait to add Ray Kerr, only until the Rule 5 deadline, unless there is some rule about becoming a minor league free agent. This leaves a temporary spot open.

They outrighted Long and McCaughan too. I saw somewhere that Long elected to become a FA.
They also kept Margevicius.
