What the Fuck is wrong with people. Some national writer pulls a trade idea out of his ass and suddenly everyone is lusting after Nico fucking Hoerner and his 94 OPS+ Arroyo is probably a better hitter than Nico RIGHT NOW.
Jesus Christ...

Nico Hoerner is dogshit. Tf where we would we even use him?

We have 14 of him on this roster already.

Looks like they are keeping Vlad

Like I said. You don't trade aircraft carriers when you have the loot to sign them. Vladdy hasn't said he's not signing an extension

I'm not sure I buy it.

Again, I'm not sure it serves a purpose to weaken your hand by stating matter of factly that you will trade them.
Just shut up Seattle. Vladdy isn't going anywhere

How is it that GM's are so bad at determining trade value?

Former GM Jim Duquette was on with Jason Puckett and suggest the asking price for Cody Bellinger starts with Colt Emerson...

The same Cody Bellinger who is making $26ish million the next 2x seasons each?

The same Cody Bellinger who has regressed again to a .743 OPS?

Like wtf... try fucking harder.

Here’s a Fansided proposal that effectively drains the farm just to get Luis Robert:

I don’t know what realistic trade values there are for Robert, but this seems exorbitant for a guy who has so far proven to be as delicate as my great Aunt Ethel’s China tea set.

You never want to trade from a position of weakness. Remember Bavasi stating he needs pitching so he trades Adam Jones and three prospects for Bedard. That worked out well. Then we have the Heathclff Slocumb for Derek Lowe and Jason Varitek.

So, we got rid of Suarez and Hernandez (?) because they struck out too much. Now that JRod is striking out with the same frequency as they did last year and has regressed each year, will Dipoto trade him at the end of the season to dump payroll?

Well, I don't think you believe the mentioned situations are remotely similar.

Geno has regressed massively to a .591 OPS.

Teo was owed $24 million in a QO that he might not even accepted if it was offered.

They're both old.

Julio is not old. Julio will turn it around. Lets try to be honest in our assessments here.
