Kelenic batting .279 with an OPS of .774, and batting lead off. Nice trade.
Not even 25 yet. Plays an excellent OF. Runs the bases well. Oh but he doesn't have the attitude that some wanted so lets shit on him and campaign for his trade.

Told you bpj you dummy
He didn't, and wouldn't, have done it with the Mariners, dummy.

I said from the beginning it wouldn't surprise me if another team fixes Kelenic. Dipoto screwed up by bringing him up two years before he should have like he seems to do with every offensive player. I never blamed Kelenic for his poor play. Just for being a whiny little diaperbaby.

A nobody like Luke Raley can match Kelenic's production though. I won't act like I miss that whiny bitch.

JK is on a little 3 week hot streak like he was at the beginning of last season and it Sept 2020 so everyone gets excited. I am sure there is no chance he will go into another one of his patented death spiral slumps this season.

Raley: 212 PAs 1.2 bWAR and 115 OPS+ Cost us Cabby

JK: 233 PAs 1.0 bWAR and 115 OPS+ Saved us 10s of millions and never having to look at his resting bitch face in an M's uniform again.

Only two things Jerry did right all off season

In 4 innings of work so far, Keuchel has given up 8 hits and 5 earned runs. Not exactly Cy Young stats.
Seems we might have known what was up? I guess I should learn to give more benefit of the doubt when it comes to our evaluation of Pitching.
The cash considerations was one dollar. I don't think they did it for the money

If Dipoto can't replace Kelenic's production going forward, it's on him.

Kelenic is a bitch, I don't care what happens with him, I'm just glad he's gone. Raley plays the game the right way from what I've seen.

It is on dipoto, if Kelenic goes to an all star game in the next five years then it's on him. Nobody cares if he's a little bitch, it's production that counts. Let's see who produces, Riley or kelenic.

Raley is irrelevant.

He's just the guy who replaced Kelenic easily this season.

If Dipoto can't find a good corner outfielder when (if) Kelenic actually becomes an above average player, it's on him.

It's certainly not tied to Raley. He's already replaced Kelenics production this year (good job Jerry). And Kelenic likely wouldn't have produced in Seattle anyways.

Who knows, what I'm saying is I am willing to wager in the next few seasons fans are going to begin scratching their heads over why dipoto traded kelenic for $15 mil in salary relief. You guys think it's this great trade because he's a little bitch. Okay, I don't think that reason is going to age well. But let's see, I'm generally wrong

All three points are true.

1) Kelenic is a little bitch.

2) Dipoto screwed up multiple times with Kelenic. First by giving in to pressure to bring him up before he'd proven himself and had to face adversity in the minors, then by using him as a salary dump.

3) You're usually wrong

Perhaps players in the dugout asked for Kelenic to be traded?

I have never disliked Kelenic. But he did seem a little off.
