I feel for guys like Bauers. I mean, it must be really frustrating to be good enough to make it to the highest level but just barely good enough to stay there, and knowing any given day in the majors might be your last.
I doubt he's "just barely good enough." He's basically a fill in for somebody who is injured.
Well, he's here so by definition he's good enough. Lots of guys around the league filling that 26th roster spot are pretty fringy.

And what's worse is that he's not even barely good enough. He's only here because DiPoto doesn't want to admit he screwed up trading for him. Meanwhile, Marms has a 1.167 OPS at Tacoma and isn't letting up.
Well, Marmo has had multiple chances and can't seem to hit in the majors consistently. I agree it's time to give him another shot, but I can also see why the Mariners would be skeptical. Plus, there's been some chatter that AAA pitching is down this year. I'm not sure if that's provable, but it could be the case.
True, he could well come back up and like everyone else not even hit half what he hit in Tacoma, but as you said it's probably time. Even as bad as Marms was, at least he can hit the ball over the coed line.

As long as they continue to give Bauers and Long chances, then there is no reason to not give Marm another shot. I do believe it about AAA pitching though. Who do the Mariners have that is any good in AAA?

Yanks get the lucky bounce on Seager's hit. It's like these games are predetermined.

And of course after Seager has to hold at one, look what happens. Just a complete bullshit weekend.

They probably keep Bauers and Long on the roster because they are really good clubhouse guys! They help team chemestry!

Omg this offense is complete joke. How the hell are our hitting coaches still employed. This is ridiculous.

Eight straight scoreless innings against the Yanks for Kikuchi including the game at home against them.

I had just read this article and was thinking we must have nothing in Tacoma.

From the article, 1 Prospect Each Team Should Call Up
Mariners: Aaron Fletcher, LHP (No. 15)
The Mariners have called upon their farm system often this year to help out, from bigger names like Jarred Kelenic and Logan Gilbert to bullpen contributors like Wyatt Mills and Fletcher, who has two stints with Seattle already this year. He’s been really good of late in Triple-A, allowing just one run over his last nine outings (9 2/3 IP) and he’s been really tough against lefties all year (.158 BAA).
