Went 2 years back to a game against Washington. It was definitely the quietest home game I had ever been to. We simply dont have much of a home field advantage anymoreIStillLoveTheMs wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2019 4:02 amI guess...HawkandMariner88 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2019 3:42 amWould help if we had a damn roof like the stadium next door. Football is not meant to be played in the elements.
Today's weather was built for the Ravens... they have a QB who makes people miss in space... nothing better than a slick field to make that happen.
And yes, Russ hasn't really faired super well in games where the elements were tough.
But you get what you get.
My main complaint with the stadium was the huge hike in ticket prices during the SB runs... now half the stadium is filled with rich, old bandwagoners who said, "OHH welll I doo declareee... this is a mighty fine football team in our city, what is that quarterback's name? Dan Wilson? I thought he retireddd years agooo... this seems fun... let's jump onnnn."
The home field has lost it's flair for crazy noise because there are a bunch of old people in the stadium asking you to sit down and stop yelling because it's ruining their experience.
I've been to a couple games over the years and it's a noticeable change.
We're sounding spoiled.

Do you really think there is that big of turnover in ticket holders? The same people that I was going to the ganes with in '12 -'14 are still going to the games now. I was there yesterday seemed loud to me. Baltimore (Jackson) pretty much took the crowd out of it. That pick 6 let the life out of the building.Hasslecracked wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2019 8:32 amWent 2 years back to a game against Washington. It was definitely the quietest home game I had ever been to. All the third and long conversions by Jackson probably had more to do with a silent crowd than anything else. We didn’t play well, especially after the pick six, but that kid was out of this world running the football.

If anyone thinks this D will get us to the playoffs, then you're drinking way too much of the koolaid.
This D is atrocious and the O isn't good enough to cover up that fact.

That atrocious D gave up 16 points. Ravens got 14 off of turnovers. Try again.Logainismyhero wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2019 1:52 pmIf anyone thinks this D will get us to the playoffs, then you're drinking way too much of the koolaid.

Cant seem to figure out why Russ and the rest of the offense struggle mightily in the rain- Maybe we should actually start practicing in the rain instead of running into the covered bubble for once ? Its getting old..

They gave up 200 yards on the ground. The D is horrible. Try again.ThePro wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2019 2:07 pmThat atrocious D gave up 16 points. Ravens got 14 off of turnovers. I gotta agree. We can't get any pressure on the QB, Thompson continues to get beat and Bobby hasn't been the same difference maker from years past
