Re: Steve Bannon ripping Musk a new asshole
Did Nazis put their hands to their hearts then make a sweeping gesture ending with their arm extended halfway between frontward and to the side? I thought they just stuck their arm out directly forward at an upward angle. What Musk did is a fairly common gesture to express love or gratitude (usually to a crowd) and has probably been done thousands of times by prominent figures without them being accused of making a fascist salute. Because, on the first of the two gestures, his hand ended up on the same plane as his arm with the palm down the frozen image looks a lot like pictures of nazis saluting Hitler but that's no different than taking words out of context, like "there are good people on both sides...". Why do none of the accusers try to explain why Musk's hand wasn't in the proper "alignment" the second time? Well, probably because TDS leads to "altered" perceptions and the acceptance of intellectual dishonesty in the pursuit of a "higher" cause.

I'll second that.bpj wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 7:27 pmNo, you're right, you're not just stupid. You're retarded.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 3:01 pmPlease, it's just a way to engage large crowds, you're really going to try and sell that? If that's the case why is the gesture outlawed in Germany? You're telling me Musk doesn't grasp the significance. Musk isn't that stupid and neither am I, I'm confident he grasps the meaning of a fascist salute. as I do. I'm just curious why he would spring it at the inauguration. My guess is because it would generate what in fact happened, lots of attention
Will the motion carry?
Most likely.

Yeah, I have just seen the still image. Has he ever done it before? He's a seasoned speaker. If it had been done thousands of times before by others I don't think you have the controversy today. I don't think it's about trying to get Musk. He's a popular guy seems to me. It's unbelievable the amount of content turned out about him daily. That's something Trump could become jealous ofSibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 7:31 pmDid Nazis put their hands to their hearts then make a sweeping gesture ending with their arm extended halfway between frontward and to the side? I'm guessing "his heart has never gone out" like it did to the people he feels helped save the country that he was addressing that voted for Trump.
He felt so strongly that our country was going down the toilet that he added helping to save it to his agenda along with helping to direct his companies.
I'm sure it all makes sense to you degenerate libs who think the Trump supporters he was addressing at the event celebrating Trumps inauguration are all Nazis, but it looks absolutely pathetic.
Even Netanyahu called it out. It's so odd the things you libs take a stand for.

Sure okay...I started the thread because I was surprised and curious about the Bannon comments, those are some pretty strong comments. I dropped the salute thing casually because it seemed kinda weird but I screwed my own thread.bpj wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 9:53 pmI'm guessing "his heart has never gone out" like it did to the people he feels helped save the country that he was addressing that voted for Trump.

Anyway back to Bannon, he says of Musk “He is a truly evil guy, a very bad guy". That's not some lib retard, so what to make of it. It doesn't sound like Bannon buys into Musk's heart gushing out. I would take it as Bannon saying musk is in it for himself.
I see now that Trump is siding with Musk over the H-1B visa thing. What do you think, I would guess your views run pretty closely with Bannon. And you have pretty strong immigration views. You're comfortable with Musk? What do you make of Bannons opinion of him?

I'm comfortable that Musk isn't anything remotely resembling a nazi. He's banning people on X that are anti-Israel.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 12:37 amSure okay...I started the thread because I was surprised and curious about the Bannon comments, those are some pretty strong comments. And I'm also comfortable with him as head cost-cutting executive. I think he will see through the waste and be ruthless in cutting it, exactly what we need.
Beyond that, I don't really care. That's the scope of his duties.
Kind of like I don't care whether Trump is a choir boy as long as he continues his America-first crusade. He's off to a much better start than 2016 when he had no idea how to fill out his government, and trusted way too many backstabbers. These people are already getting things done.
He's made so many changes already that libs will spend months catching up with their outrage fits.

It's already day 7, why isn't everything cheap again??
Incredible.
