I don't know whether Musk is a Nazi or not...
Then why promote idiocy when you know nothing about it? There is a reason people refer to you by your initials!

By the way, the Nazi Party was the political party of the mass movement known as National Socialism.
I literally qualified the statement right after. If he's not a Nazi, it's pretty insane that we are giving people offices at the white house who do not have the awareness to not make gestures like that on the grandest of stages.

As for promoting idiocy that people know nothing about... that should literally be the motto of this board. You quite literally promoted something you know nothing about in your next sentence    I mean my God.

"Were the Nazis socialists? No, not in any meaningful way, and certainly not after 1934...

To say that Hitler understood the value of language would be an enormous understatement. Propaganda played a significant role in his rise to power. To that end, he paid lip service to the tenets suggested by a name like National Socialist German Workers’ Party, but his primary—indeed, sole—focus was on achieving power whatever the cost and advancing his racist, anti-Semitic agenda.

Over the following years the brothers Otto and Gregor Strasser did much to grow the party by tying Hitler’s racist nationalism to socialist rhetoric that appealed to the suffering lower middle classes... By the late 1920s, however, with the German economy in free fall, Hitler had enlisted support from wealthy industrialists who sought to pursue avowedly anti-socialist policies.

Hitler allied himself with leaders of German conservative and nationalist movements, and in January 1933 German President Paul von Hindenburg appointed him chancellor. Hitler’s Third Reich had been born, and it was entirely fascist in character. Within two months Hitler achieved full dictatorial power through the Enabling Act. In April 1933 communists, socialists, democrats, and Jews were purged from the German civil service, and trade unions were outlawed the following month.

That July Hitler banned all political parties other than his own, and prominent members of the German Communist Party and the Social Democratic Party were arrested and imprisoned in concentration camps... Any remaining traces of socialist thought in the Nazi Party had been extinguished."

What's next? Are you going to tell me that modern-day Democrats were the same as Democrat slave owners? I bet that one gets a real kick out of your 70 year old friends who think buzzwords mean anything.

The deal with Musk for me is the expression on his face, that's a pretty intense glare for someone just waving to the crowd.

Terms of his motivation, I think he would do practically anything to draw attention to himself, including fascist salutes at inaugurations. Billionaires are a strange breed, Musk seems intent on being the strangest
He has 214 million followers on Ex but needs to draw attention to himself?

Well yeah, why did he cultivate the 214 million followers in the first place, you think he's intent on being discreet?

I tend to think Musk is mainly out for himself and certainly an opportunist with regard to his business interests, and isn't really as much grounded in the values of conservatism (or any moral philosophy) the way Bannon is. That would lead me to agree with the notion that Trump should be cautious in taking advice from him even on issues with regard to the tech world or economic issues in general. I don't know if he's evil but he certainly is an oddball and not someone that is at all in touch with the average working-class citizen here, or traditional American values in general.

He doesn't seem to care much for Musk. Opinions? The Musk Trump marriage has struck me as a little strange. I wouldn't be surprised if it burned out pretty quickly,
“He is a truly evil guy, a very bad guy. I made it my personal thing to take this guy down,” Bannon said. “Before, because he put money in, I was prepared to tolerate it – I’m not prepared to tolerate it any more.”

He added: “I will have Elon Musk run out of here by inauguration day”, which falls on 20 January. “He will not have full access to the White House. He will be like any other person.”
“This thing of the H-1B visas, it’s about the entire immigration system is gamed by the tech overlords. They use it to their advantage. The people are furious,”
“He [Musk] should go back to South Africa,” Bannon said. “Why do we have South Africans, the most racist people on earth, white South Africans, we have them making any comments at all on what goes on in the United States?”
Arguing that Musk’s “sole objective is to become a trillionaire” and calling him a proponent of “techno-feudalism on a global scale”, Bannon said, “I don’t support that and we’ll fight it,” adding: “He won’t fight. He’s got the maturity of a little boy.

“He will do anything to make sure that any one of his companies is protected or has a better deal or he makes more money.

“His aggregation of wealth, and then – through wealth – power: that’s what he’s focused on.”

So, Steve Bannon is your source of truth, wisdom, and righteousness?

Beyond comprehension that the Idiot Patrol STILL think they can cancel people for complete nonsense. Musk was flailing around like a wild man but because he did that it means he wants to exterminate all Jews.

Great Headline from the Babylon Bee: Far left Libs take time out from chanting "Death to Israel to accuse Musk of being a Nazi" LMAO.
Darren, I dare you to go give speech at your next work conference and throw up that gesture in a moment of excitement like Musk did. See how it goes for ya.

Now imagine that you're on the biggest platform in the world celebrating the inauguration of a president and you don't have the insight to not do something so stupid... and you're an advisor to the President/being given an office at the White House.

I don't know whether Musk is a Nazi or not...

I just don't understand how a man with so much power to wield could be so stupid.
T-Rash! Why don't you attack Kamla, Obama, or hundreds of your leftist for being "caught" in a pic with the same orientation?

I don't see the relationship, simple question, why did he do it? It was a distinct gesture, repeated twice. He wasn't waving to the crowd and he's not a Nazi, he used a gesture that is extremely offensive, he could have been thrown in jail in Germany. He has a history of this kind of stuff, particularly with tweets. But why, what's the motivation?

Like this, if was groundless, it cost his shareholders $12 billion dollars, got him sued and in trouble with the SEC. Why did he do it? Notice by the way, 420, musk smokes weed, 420 which stands for weed creeps into a lot of the things he puts out. That's it, he's high
One of the most notable involves a 2018 tweet in which Musk wrote that he had "funding secured" to take the company private at $420 per share

Please, it's just a way to engage large crowds, you're really going to try and sell that? If that's the case why is the gesture outlawed in Germany? You're telling me Musk doesn't grasp the significance. Musk isn't that stupid and neither am I, I'm confident he grasps the meaning of a fascist salute. as I do. I'm just curious why he would spring it at the inauguration. My guess is because it would generate what in fact happened, lots of attention

No, you're right, you're not just stupid. You're retarded.
